Description
It is an oversized orchid that prefers warm weather, is an epiphyte with a short, thick stems bearing leaves elliptic-oblong, obtusely lobed unevenly. It flowers in an axillary inflorescence 45 cm long, with flowers 6 cm long and with several bracts . The flowers are fragrant, heavy textured and long lasting. Flowering occurs in winter and spring .
