Peruvian Podolsky ( Cotinus coggygria Scop.) - species of shrub from the family Nanerczowatych (Anacardiaceae). It comes from south-western Asia and from south-eastern Europe. In many countries, also in Poland, it is grown as an ornamental plant. The generic name of the plant comes from very nice, delicate inflorescences , resembling a wig. Planted as an ornamental plant in parks and home gardens. The decorative advantages are beautiful red leaves and a delicate, pretty inflorescence that lasts a long time on the plant. While individual flowers are inconspicuous, the entire inflorescence looks very nice on the background of red leaves. After flowering, inflorescences turn into fruit heads. Red, delicate and feathery inflorescences persist for a long time on the bush, adding to its charm. Growing method: there are no special soil requirements. It can grow even on sandy soils, but it grows best on sandy loam soils with the addition of calcium. It is completely hardy. He tolerates drought well. It should be planted in a sunny or semi-shaded place.
