Description

Austrocylindropuntia verschaffeltii is a species of cactus native to Bolivia and Argentina. It is a shrub, growing up to 30 cm long, with stems up to 10 cm long which bear leaves up to 3 cm in length, and from 0-5 spines, each up to 5 cm long. It has red flowers that are 4 cm in width, followed by fruits with thorns.
