Description
Ophiorrhiza is a genus of flowering plants in the coffee (Rubiaceae) family. Species of the genus contain camptothecin, an alkaloid used to make chemotherapeutic agents. So many of Ophiorrhiza species are endemic to certain areas of Western Ghats.
