Description

Hakea verrucosa is a shrub species in the family Proteaceae. It is endemic to south-west Western Australia. Plants grow to between 0.8 and 3 metres high and produce pink to red and white flowers between May and August in the species native range. The species was first formally described in 1865 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller and published in the fifth volume of his Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae.
