Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin)
Description
The patchouli or patchouli ( patchouli (Blanco) Benth. , 1848 ) is a plant of the family of Lamiaceae, native to tropical regions of' Asia and cultivated intensively in China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Philippines, West Africa and Vietnam. It has a bushy appearance and its stem can reach about 0.75 meters in height. It produces small white-pink flowers.
