European Seaheath (Frankenia pulverulenta)
Description
European sea-heath is native to Europe, western Asia and northern Africa, and is mainly a plant of desert and coastal habitats. In North America there are isolated records from Oregon, Utah, and Massachusetts, where it has been collected only from the waste area of a nineteenth-century wool carding factory.
