Mountain Heather (Cassiope)
Description
Cassiope is a genus of nine to twelve shrubby plants of the heath family ( Ericaceae ). The botanical name Cassiope is derived from Cassiopeia from Greek mythology. The species are native to the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere . C. tetragona comes at the high arctic tundra of Greenland before.
