Description

Hatiora rosea usually grows with one to three upright main shoots The flat or three to six-edged, initially reddish, later dark green shoot segments are concave on the sides and 2 to 4 inches long. The edges are notched two to three times. The areoles are located along the edges and the tip of the shoots. They are filled with a few, fine bristles. The broad funnel-shaped, pink flowers are 3 to 4 inches long and have just such a diameter. The yellowish fruits are depressed spherical.
