

Wikstroemia pulcherrima is a species of flowering plant in the Thymelaeaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree that can reach up to 6 meters (20 feet) in height. The leaves are leathery and glossy with a length of 6 to 12 centimeters (2.4 to 4.7 inches) and a width of 2 to 5 centimeters (0.8 to 2.0 inches). The flowers are small and yellow, grouped in terminal clusters.
