Description
It is an annual vine erect or sometimes climbing a little. The stems are simple cylindrical, that reaches a size of 8 - 100 cm of congitud, smooth and hollow. Petiole 1.5 to 4.5 cm, barely winged; the tendrils sometimes present. The oval to oblong leaf, from 4 - 20 × 2 to 14 cm, the lower glaucous. The inflorescences in the form of an umbel with peduncle of 3-9 cm, slightly compressed; umbels of two sexes 20 - 30 flowers, thickened base. The male flowers: greenish-yellow or white tepals. The fruits are bluish-black, globose berries 6-7 mm in diameter.
