Yellow Prickle (Zanthoxylum schreberi)
Description
It is a shrub or small tree that reaches a size of 3-8 m high, trunks and branches armed with aculeans . The alternating leaves are present grouped in the apices of the twigs, unifolioladas of simple appearance, the leaflet irregularly elliptical (rarely obovate), of 6-12.5 cm long and 3-6 cm wide, apex rounded to acute, raquis terete.
