Description

Coddia rudis grows as an unprotected,almost evergreen,well branched shrub with heights of 1 to 2.5 m or as a small tree with heights of up to 4 m,but usually several stems are present.The branches,which are usually overlapping,have an initially fluffy gray-haired bark. The foliage leaves which are concentrated in the branches and on the branches of the branches are indistinctly divided into the leaf stalk and leaf blade.The actual leaf-stalk is only 1 cm.Long,with the narrow base of the sphenoid,he is ciliated.The thin,simple leaf blade is elliptical to almost circular,with a length of 0.8 to 5.5 cm and a width of 0.3 to 3.3 cm,usually with a dull to somewhat pointed tip and a wedge-shaped base,the leaf stalk narrowed.Both leaf surfaces can be more or less dense fluffy hairy,or on the leaf top the middle vein is fluffy hairy and there are hairy domaties on the underside of the leaf.From the 1 to 2 mm long,fluffy hairyIn addition to the leaflets,durable basal pieces remain knot-like on the curdels.
