Asperula taygetea is Rubiaceae family and pars road belonging to the plant family.The plant blooms from April to June.Asperula taygetea grows 150 to 250 meters above the rocks and limestone rocks.Species are native species of the southern Aegean region.The species is found in Greece,Crete,the western part,Peloponnese peninsula,Kythira island and Antikythyra,Lagoúvardoksen and Prasonissi islands forming the Natura 2000 association.The plant is protected by the Greek presidential decree (67/1981).
