Description

Asperula arcadiensis grows as a upright, herbaceous, perennial herbaceous plant with a height of 8 to 15 cm (rarely 4 to 18 cm).The at their base woody,weak,four-sided stems are hairy. The less than twelve internodes follow one another at more or less equal intervals and are hardly longer in the upper regions. The foliage leaves are represented, forming with the like-looking secondary leaves an apparent whorl of six (rarely seven) leaves. The simple, densely gray-haired leaf blades are lanceolate with a length of usually 8 to 10 (rarely 4 to 12) millimeters and a width of mostly 1.5 to 2.5 (rarely 1.2 to 3) millimeters more or less broad. The leaf margins are weakly rolled downwards. The leaf veining is determined by a central rib.
