Description

Agrimonia odorata was described by Philip Miller in 1768. The name is considered as validly published. Agrimonia odorata is a species in the genus Agrimonia which contains approximately 17 to 31 species and belongs to the family of the Rosaceae (Rose Family). The perennials reach heights of to 100 centimetres. Agrimonia odorata is deciduous. The green, imparipinnate leaves are alternate. Agrimonia odorata produces racemes of golden-yellow cup-shaped flowers from June to August. Agrimonia odorata is native to the whole of Europe.
