Description

Xylomelum cunninghamianum is a tree in the woody pear genus of the Proteaceae family. It grows to 12 m in height. Endemic to Australia, it is found throughout inland south-eastern Queensland and north-eastern New South Wales in dry sclerophyll forest on sandy soils at altitudes of 350–630 m above sea level. It flowers from February to May. The pale brown seeds are 50–70 mm long and 15–20 mm wide.
