Description

Petrophile media is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.The non-lignotuberous shrub can either have an erect or low and spreading habit and typically grows to a height of 0.1 to 0.6 metres (0.3 to 2.0 ft). It blooms between August and December producing yellow-cream flowers.It is found on sand plains, winter wet areas and lateritic ridges in the Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-clay soils
