Prickly hakea (Hakea amplexicaulis)
Description
Hakea amplexicaulis (Prickly Hakea) is a shrub which is native to south west Western Australia. Prickly Hakea is erect in habit, growing to a height of 1 to 3 metres (3 to 10 ft). It has leaves with prickly edges which envelope the stems. White flowers are produced between August and November in its native range
