Description
Primula pedemontana is a species belonging to the Primulaceae family. It is a perennial plant , escaposa , not farinosa. The longest leaves of 2-4 (10) cm; limb 1.5-4 x 1-1.7 cm, with its maximum width towards the center, from obovate to broadly lanceolate, with dense hairiness of short glandular hairs, up to 0.1-0.2 mm, with terminal cell spherical or obovoid, which in dried specimens is cochleariform. I escaped longer than the leaves; bracts 1.5-4 mm, from orbicular to closely ovate, blunt, scarious. The inflorescence with 1-25 flowers. Flowers with pedicel 1,5-6 mm in the anthesis, up to 20 mm in the fructification. Chalice 3-6 mm; teeth of length 1 / 5-2 / 5 of the calyx. Corolla20-30 mm in diameter, deep pink, with white throat. Ovoid or spheroidal fruit.
