Description
Perennial-grass to 1m tall. Leaves with a rough, hairless, or hairy-sheath-at the base.-Ligule-a membrane with a fringe of hairs. Leaves 4-20cm long, 2-3mm wide, usually-flat, hairless, hairy, or rough, tips abruptly pointed.-Spikelets-pale green to purplish black, 2-6mm long. Seeds with 2-awns. Flower groups-digitate, limp. Vulnerable Vic.
