Statice (Armeria welwitschii)
Description
Armeria welwitschii is a species of flower plant belonging to the family Plumbaginaceae . It is a camphor species whose preferred habitats are sand by the sea and in rocky areas, giving their flowering between March and July. The species was described by Pierre Edmond Boissier and was published in Prodromus Systematis Naturalis Regni Vegetabilis 12: 676. 1848.
