Description

Antirrhinum sempervirens is a dwarf shrub whose stems reach a length of 25 cm. The plant is glandless short-fluffy to shaggy hairy, occasionally occur in the inflorescence glandular trichomes The mostly opposite leaves are 12 to 30 mm long and 5 to 17 mm wide, oblong to elliptical. The petioles are 3 to 7 mm long. The bracts are similar to the leaves. The flower stalks are 5 to 10 mm long. The sepals are 5 to 6 mm long, lanceolate, pointed. The crown is 20 to 25 mm long, white or cream-colored, often veined purple and provided with a purple spot on the upper lip. The palate is yellow or white. The fruits are almost spherical, glandular hairy capsules with a diameter of 6 mm.
