Description

Leptopus chinensis was already described and the name validly published by Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge. It was Antonina Ivanovna Pojarkova, however, who reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics in 1960. Leptopus chinensis is a species in the genus Leptopus which contains approximately 10 to 11 species and belongs to the family of the Euphorbiaceae (Spurge Family).
