Hairy Lousewort (Pedicularis rosea rosea)

Description

Pedicularis hirsuta is a species of flowering plants of the genus Pedicularis belonging to the family Scrophulariaceae according to the classical classification of Cronquist (1981) or to the family of Orobanchaceae according to the phylogenetic classification. It is found in the north of Sweden , in Finland , and Norway , in Greenland , in the archipelago of Svalbard , in Novaya Zemlya and in the far north of Russia .This-herb-perennial-leafy presents erected reaching 2 to-10-cm-in height, and sometimes up to-20-cm-, and tomenteuse above.-Its divided leaves are rather lanceolate with the rudimentary lobes and toothed.-Its flowers are of a bright pink with a straight blunt limb and a blade of the same width, forming a rounded inflorescence.-The calyx is tomentose with toothed lobes.-This species blooms in late spring.
