Laelia marginata (Laelia marginata)

Description

Laelia Marginalis is a large orchid that grows on trees (epiphytes) and has mutually compressed pseudobulbs , in the shape of a claved-fusiform, grooved, with shore characteristics, wrapped by young membranous sheaths. On each of the pseudobulb, two apical, erect-patented, rigid, oblong, curved, curved, apexish and slightly concave leaves grow on the lower side. The flowering occurs in summer on large, robust, semi-hollow racemas, up to 110 centimeters high and with a large number of flowers, ranging from 20 to over 40. These flowers are about 5 inches in size and feature the jagged edge of petals and sepals that are darker in color than the cinnamon that is usually rosy.
