Description

It is an orchid of giant size, which prefers warm to fresh climate, is monopodial lithophyte with the thick branched stem with 10 to 15 rigid leaves, coriaceous, ligulate, with unequally bilobed apex . It flowers in an axillary inflorescence , ascending or horizontal of 120 cm long, densely covered with many flowers of 7.5 cm in length, long-lasting, fragrant, largely ceraceous arranged in two rows. Flowering occurs in early winter in the northern hemisphere .
