Description

It is a terrestrial habit plant that grows in cold climates. It is rugged and carpet the slopes covered with broken granite rock. It has lanceolate cauline leaves, acuminate, arranged in spiral green color that blooms in a terminal spike , erect of 37.5 cm long, [it looks like a bottle brush], in a basal cluster with numerous bracts and flowers of 2 to 2.5 cm wide. It produces flowering in May, but it can be found in bloom in late spring and early summer .
