Description

Eucalyptus pluricaulis, commonly known as the purple-leaved mallee, is a mallee that is native to Western Australia.The erect to straggly mallee tree typically grows to a height of 1 to 5 metres (3 to 16 ft) but reach up to 9 m (30 ft) with smooth bark that forms ribbons toward the base. The tree blooms between March and September producing yellow flowers. The leaves are disjunct and leanceolate. The calyx calyptrate of the flower sheds early, and later form linear and cuboid fruits.
