Rough Marshmallow (Althaea hirsuta)
Description
The genus Althaea is differentiated from Malva and Lavatera by the calculus that has more than three pieces. This species is an annual cycle herb , usually less than a foot in height. It has very divided leaves in the upper part and others in the base that are rounded and weakly lobed, these also have a long petiole . The flowers have a beautiful lilac pink color.
