Hedgerow Geranium (Geranium pyrenaicum)
Description
Perennial plant , with erect stalks of 30-70 cm, and also has 14 chromosomes with which are conbeyed in pairs of 7 one of pairs of the breast and another one of part of the pope with short glandular hairs and long non-glandular hairs. Leaves divided up to 2/3 in 5-7 truncated cuneate lobes with rounded end teeth or blunt segments; Upper leaves more sharply divided. Purple or purple flower ; Petals very indented, 7-10 mm; Sepals 4-5 mm, with a short point. Fruit of prostrate hairs. It blooms from spring to fall.
