Largeflowered wintergreen (Pyrola grandiflora)
Description
This small perennial plant has a stem of 8 to 12 cm which carries in its upper part an inflorescence of globular flowers. Its rosette basal leaves are thick and bright green measuring 1.5 to 3 cm in length and 1 to 2 cm in width. Its flowers are pinkish to reddish-white, gathered between three and eight, with a corolla 15 to 20 mm in diameter.
