Description

Hibbertia ferruginea is a shrub in the Dilleniaceae family that is native to Western Australia. The erect or spreading shrub typically grows to a height of 0.1 to 0.6 m (3.9 in to 1 ft 11.6 in). It blooms between July and November and produces yellow flowers. The species has a scattered distribution throughout the South West region of Western Australia between Buusselton in the north, Augusta in the south and Manjimup in the east where it is found growing in sandy soils.
