Description

“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: seeds, roots Ipomoea tenuissima is a completely or almost non- hairy climbing plant . The stems are very slender, winding and up to 1 m long. The leaves are slender -stalked . The leaf blades are lanceolate, arrow-shaped, 2 to 6.5 cm long and all-round. The tip is blunt or pointed and spiky. The flowers are single, rarely twins , the inflorescences are usually shorter than the leaves, occasionally also longer. The leaves are linear, 2 mm long and deciduous. The flower stalks are 2 to 6 mm long. The sepals are elongated-lanceolate, long ciliated, short-limbed and 6 to 7 mm long. The fruits are almost spherical capsules , the seeds are smooth.
