Description

The roots are thickened to almost spherical tubers. The stems are cylindrically, slender, reddish brown and glabrous. The leaves are alternately crowded at short lateral shoots. The leaf blade is bulky , glabrous, 6 to 15 mm long, 4 to 13 mm wide, kidney-shaped, lyre-shaped or lobed. To the front they are dulled and prickly, at the base heart-shaped, cut off or rounded. The blade edge is curved. The top of the leaf is dark green, dull and glabrous, the veining does not occur. The bottom is pale green, The middle rib is thick and distinct. The petioles are 5 to 30 mm long, glabrous and slender. The blossoms stand individually at the ends of cranial branches, they are accompanied by fine, long stretched leaflets. The calyx is pale green and does not grow to maturity. The sepals are unequally shaped, ovate to rounded and 5 to 6 mm long. The crown is funnel-shaped and 4 to 5 cm long.
