Description

Cuscuta umbellata (flatglobe dodder) is a parasitic plant in the morning glory family (Convulvulaceae) found in the Sonoran Desert of the southwestern United States. After summer monsoon rains, it spreads over the host plant in tangled masses of orange strings.
