Fls 5-merous, 4-6 mm, distinctly pediceled in small head- like umbels; cal much shorter than the relatively long cor-tube, its lobes triangular-ovate to broadly ovate, very obtuse, cor-lobes broadly ovate, erect or eventually reflexed in fr; styles 1.2-2.5 mm; stigma capitate; fr loosely cupped by the persistent cor and protruding from it, broadly ovoid, 4-5 mm, with a short stout beak ca 1-1.5 mm, but without a thickened collar; seeds 2-3 mm.
