Clustered Frostweed (Crocanthemum glomeratum)
Description
Helianthemum glomeratum is a perennial , erect plant, 15 to 60 cm high. It has a woody root and numerous stems that leave the base and branch in the upper part. The small alternating or agglomerated leaves, with full margin and rounded apex, give an ashen appearance by its dense pubescence. Flowers of five yellow petals (or less frequently white-yellowish) are present in sets of 3 to 8.
