Description

It can reach 20 cm high. The stem , much branched, is usually prostrate. The leaves have a shape ovata or oblong-lanceolate and are opposite and equipped with stipules scariose. They also denticulate margins and are briefly aristate apex. The flowers are small and greenish, collected in glomeruli axillary diameter of about 3-8 mm. The calyx has 5 sepals briefly scariosi at the margin, with an apex cap equipped with a short remains. The fruits are small capsules . The flowering period is from April to May.
