Description
Unbranched shrubs 1.5-3 m tall that live for a number of years, flower once, then die. Leaves 12-22 cm long and 1-3 cm wide. Inflorescences composed of 5-10 horizontal branches 20-58 cm long. Corollas scarlet, 5-5.5 cm long.
