Description
Usually forms small clumps pillow. The stem is cylindrical, spherical or low, black, 5 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height. The ribs 12-20 are equal, the areolas with horizontal slots. Areola are whitish and up to 2 cm apart. 12-20 spines, straight, edge and center is hard to distinguish the zakr-ven-, irregular, yellowish, 3-5 cm long. Flowers are funnel-shaped and appear at the top, the side stems, red, orange yellow, purple, yellow or pink, 4-10 cm long and the same diameter. Fruit red or green, hairy and has 12 mm in diameter. Seeds shiny, about 1 mm long.
