Golden easter lily cactus (Echinopsis aurea)
Description
Echinopsis aurea grows individually or forms groups. The spherical to short cylindrical, dark green shoots reach diameters of 4 to 6 centimeters growth heights of 5 to 10 centimeters. There are 14 to 15 sharp, distinct ribs separated by deep furrows. The brownish areola on it are up to 1 centimeter apart. From them brownish or thorn-like spines spring up , which are yellowish-tipped. The usually four strong, often flattened middle spines are 2 to 3 inches long. The eight to ten outstretched spines have a length of up to 1 centimeter.
