Description
Austrocylindropuntia is a genus of cactus belonging to the family Cactaceae . There are 11recognized species that were previously included in the genus Opuntia . Austrocylindropuntia : segregated genus of Opuntia and later also of Cylindropuntia . The generic name comes to mean Cylindropuntia del Sur (australis).
