Sansevieria longiflora grows as a perennial , succulent plant with up to 2.5 cm thick creeping rhizomes . The four to six leaves are pinkish, spread and lanceolate. The simple leaf blade is 30 to 150 centimeters long and 4 to 9 centimeters wide. It narrows to a base of up to 7.6 centimeters long tricky stalk and is flat on top. The leaves are dark green lighter or irregularly banded. The spider tip is thorny, hard, 3 to 6 millimeters long and brown. The spreading edge is hardened and dyed reddish or yellowish. The leaf surface is smooth. The loose- grained or densely inflated inflorescences are 33 to 68 cm long. The panicles are densely packed with two to three flowers per tuft and 7.5 to 38 centimeters long. The leaflet is lanceolate and has a length of 1.2 to 2.5 cm. The flower stem is 1 to 3 millimeters long. The petals are greenish-white. The petal is 9 to 10 centimeters long. The white laces are 2.5 to 4 centimeters long.
