Description

Sansevieria liberica�grows stemless as a�perennial�,�succulent�plant with 1.9 centimeters of pale greyish creeping�rhizomes�.�The one to six�leaves�are upright or almost upright on a shoot, in old age also spread and are stiff leathery or belt-shaped to lanceolate.�The simple�leaf blade�is 46 to 106 inches long and 5 to 12.5 inches wide.�It narrows from below the middle downwards in a hollow-tipped stem and is dark green, usually provided with clearly pale green transverse bands.�Above the center upwards, it narrows into a 2 to 12 millimeters long, green, elastic spear point, theis pretty�sharpened and whitish in old age.�The margin is cartilaginous, pale reddish brown.�The leaf surface is smooth.
