“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: berries The Ilex Excelsa is an Iron Growth Species first described by Nathaniel Wallich,and was now renamed Joseph Dalton Hooker.Ilex excelsa is part of the genus Hollycars,and the family of iron plants.In addition to the nominal form,there is also the subspecies I.e.Hypotricha Ilex or holly is a genus of about 480 species of flowering plants in the family Aquifoliaceae, and the only living genus in that family. The species are evergreen or deciduous trees, shrubs, and climbers from tropics to temperate zones worldwide.
