Hoya griffithii is a species of the genus of wax flowers ( Hoya ) from the subfamily of the plant plants (Asclepiadoideae). Hoya griffithii lives epiphytic and has climbing shoots with a length of up to 1.5 m and a diameter of up to 4 mm. The stalked, relatively thin leaves are lanceolate to oblong-lancet-shaped and 11 to 14 cm long and 2.5 to 4.5 cm wide. The base is wedge-shaped, the apex pointed. They sit on 1 to 3 cm long, sturdy stems. The leaves are dark green, with some whitish spots; only the middle vein of the Blattäderung is well recognizable. The inflorescenceis cone-shaped and spherical with a 5 to 7 cm long stem. He has about 5 to 10 single flowers. The sepals are oblong-ovate and measure 7 to 8 × 4.5 mm. The corolla has a diameter of about 3 cm and sits on a 4 to 4.5 cm long peduncle. The flower is white, slightly yellowish to pale rose. Outside she has single red speckles or is median pink colored. The crowns are broad-ovate, crescent-shaped curved and widely spread. The edges and tip are slightly bent back. The outside is smooth, the inside is provided with a faint fluff. The sidelobes are about 5 mm long and concave. The outer appendage rounded, the inner appendage pulled out tooth-like.
