Description

Hoya curtisii grows as a spiraling, epiphytic , perennial herbaceous plant. The shoot axes measure only about 0.2 cm in diameter. The opposite arranged leaves are stalked short. The fleshy to slightly succulent, simple leaf blade is almost roundish or elliptic with a long extended tip. The surface is dark green with numerous silvery spots. The leaves measure 1.5 cm in length and 1.5 to 2 cm in width. The inflorescence contains up to about 30 flowers (10 to 25 flowers ). The hermaphrodite, radial symmetry, fünfzählige flower has a diameter of about 2 cm. The five petals are bent back in the fully inflated state, but slightly curved inwards. The top is densely hairy.
