Living stones (Lithops ruschiorum)
Description
Lithops ruschiorum is a stemless, perennial succulent plant. Growths solitary or usually in clumps of 5-6 heads, but may occasionally forms large clumps with more than 30 heads. Each heads consists of a single, simple, fleshy body which is split into two parts by a deep fissure, up to 1.6 inches (4 cm) tall and up to 1.2 inches (3 cm) wide. The flower is usually about the same dimension as the plant itself, up to 1.2 inches (3 cm) and consists of a large number of long, narrow, yellow petals.
